Enlighten Knowledge (EK) Higher Secondary School on Sunday felicitated meritorious students of the school who secured good marks in this year's Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) conducted by COHSEM.
The ceremony held at the premises of the school in Sangakpham, Imphal was graced by Pooja Elangbam, Director, Tourism, Government of Manipur; P Sharatchandra Singh, secretary EK Higher Secondary School; Dr Kh Binodkumar Singh, principal, EK Higher Secondary School; Brigadier Ananya Boral, Commander, 9th Sector Assam Rifles and Colonel Sandeep Mishra, Commandant, 4th Assam Rifles as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, P Sharatchandra expressed joy on seeing students of the school securing good marks in the Class XII examination conducted by COHSEM .
He asserted that over the last decade, the school has had a good record of producing many position holders and subject toppers in the State.
He mentioned that in the Arts stream, students of the school secured all the top positions except the fourth and eighth while a student from the Science stream also secured the 15th position.
"All this was possible due to the hard work of the students, guidance of the parents/guardian, support and cooperation of the teachers", he added.
Furthermore, P Sharatchandra stated that the school will continue to nurture the potential of every student, whether they are academically strong or weak.
Meritorious students of the school were honoured with simple gifts during the ceremony.
CCIAN FORUM
CCIAN Forum on Sunday felicitated Keisham Hannah Devi d/o Keisham Okendrojit from Yairipok Bishnunaha, who secured 1st position (Arts stream) in this year's Class XII examination conducted by COHSEM.
The ceremony held at Radha Madhop Mandap, Brahmapur Nahabam Puritmayum Leirak was attended by CCIAN Forum secratary Takhellambam Robinson, member Amakcham Devananda, advisor Laishram Ingocha, vice president RK Sanajaoba, ex-officio member Gulliver Khulem, parents of Keisham Hannah and people of the area.
Keisham Hannah was honoured with a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and other gifts.
Notably, Keisham Okendrojit is a member of CCIAN Forum (1996-98) .
CRPF
The 69 Battalion CRPF of Manipur & Nagaland Sector on Thursday organised a felicitation ceremony to honour meritorious students who secured good marks in the Higher Secondary Examination 2025 conducted by COHSEM.
The ceremony held at the Battalion HQ in Mantripukhri aimed to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication and excellence of the students who achieved top ranks in their respective streams, said a release issued by CRPF.
During the event, 7 students who secured positions in the Class XII examination namely Prithita Yumnam (3rd position/commerce), Devia Mayengbam (3rd position/commerce), Alice Laiphrakpam (4th position/commerce), Moneta Laishram (8th position/science), Brainy Pebam (8th position/arts), Linthoingambi Laithangbam (9th position/arts) and Jitsia Thokchom (10th position/arts) were felicitated.
S A Rojan Zimik, Commandant of 69 Bn CRPF, presented gifts and letters of appreciation to the meritorious students as a token of acknowledgement for their success and motivation.
He also lauded the meritorious students for their perseverance and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavours.
The felicitation ceremony was also attended by parents, officers and jawans of the battalion.
Moreover, 109 Bn CRPF, Mongsangei, Imphal West also organised a felicitation ceremony to honour outstanding students who secured positions in the Manipur HSE 2025.The ceremony was conducted under the supervision of Brijesh Kumar, Commandant, 109 Bm CRPF.
During the ceremony, Nishikanta Shagolshem (5th position/science), Moirangathem Robinson Singh (8th position/science), Abujam Sheityam Singh (5th position/arts) and Naorem Kishan Singh (10th position arts) were felicitated.
