Imphal, January 17: In the proceedings of the all MLAs meeting, discussing modalities of holding Special Session of the Legislative Assembly on the ongoing talks between the government of India and NSCN-(IM) held in the Chief Minister's Secretariat today at 8.30 am under the chairmanship of Manipur chief Minister Okram Ibobi have passed five resolutions.

The meeting decided to assure the people of Manipur that all the elected MLAs undertake to make serious efforts to protect the territorial integrity of Manipur, at any cost, and to appeal to all the people of Manipur and NGOs to co-operate in this effort.

It was further resolved to convene a special Session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly to discuss the situation arising out of the ongoing peace talks between Government of India and the NSCN (IM); and for reaffirmation of the territorial integrity of Manipur.

The meeting also resolved to organise a series of all political party, public meetings and rallies for the protection of the territorial integrity of Manipur at various public places in Manipur.

Suggestion from public may be solicited in this regard.

The meeting also resolved to appeal to the people of Manipur to maintain peace and communal harmony, in all spheres of activities.
