Imphal, January 15: A meeting of the all political parties monitoring committee was held today presided by the Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh.

The developments in the peace talk were discussed.

The Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh Convenor of the Committee appealed to the people to remain calm.

The political leaders in the state exist as there is a state called Manipur and for the people of Manipur.

It would not be necessary to remain for the political parties if Manipur is Balkanized the meeting today noted.

An all party-delegation will go to Delhi to meet the Prime Minister and the Dy Prime Minister within the next few days.

The demand of the people to protect the territorial integrity of the state will be reiterated when the delegation meets the PM and the Dy PM the Chief Minister said.

A meeting of all the MLAs will be held and a special Assembly session will be called to discuss the matter.

All the political parties and political leaders are trying their best the Chief Minister said.

He appealed to all not to do anything which may disturb the warm communal relationship.
