TBSFA trounce MPIIYA 9-0

Imphal, January 11 2018: TBSFA, Toubungkhok prevailed over MPIIYA, Moirang today in the first match of the 2nd H Biro & H Brojen Memorial State Level U-15 Football Tournament 2018 to secure an emphatic 9-0 win at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School ground while AKSA, Kwakta beat AMOFA Academy (B) 1-0 in the second match.

The second day of the tournament organised by AMOFA Academy, Moirang witnessed unstoppable TBSFA who went into the first half with a dominating 4-0 lead.

TBSFA began on the front foot as N Engson struck the opener in the 21st minute opening the flood gate.

H Bikash struck the second goal for TBSFA just two minutes after the first celebration making it 2-0 .

Ph Jackson who scored twice in this match found the back of the net in the 29th minute registering his first goal.

L Kheljit added another goal during the stoppage time (30+1 min) to give his team a 4-0 first half lead.

After the breather it was L Ajeet who carried on the onslaught and gave the first goal of the second half in the 36th minute.

Ph Jackson struck his second goal in the 40th minute to extend the lead to 7-0 .

Ph Rustum and Michael added one goal each in 43rd and 44th minute giving a tough time for their rivals.

Ph Rustum was at it again enjoying his second goal in the 58th minute and demolished the Moirang side 9-0 .

In the last match of the day between AMOFA Academy (B) and AKSA, Md Abdul Shah's solitary goal in the 44th minute gave AKSA their fist win of the tournament.
