Imphal, February 06 2024: Manipur police arrested three active cadres of the proscribed KCP (PWG) involved in extortion of money from the general public and government officials.

According to police control room, one 9mm pistol along with four live rounds, one demand letter of KCP (PWG), three mobile phones, Rs 5,820 (cash) and 2 two-wheeler vehicles were recovered from the arrested persons.

A case has been registered in this regard for taking up necessary legal action, it added.
