Imphal, November 04 2023: Guru Abunghal Dance & Music Centre, Keishamthong Longjam Leirak won second place in both classical and folk dance competitions in the group category of the 19th Rashtriya Natya Avam Nritya Mahotsav, 2023 organised by Sanskar Bharati Natya Kendra in association with Ministry of Culture and Milton Public School, Agra from October 25 to 29.A release issued by the centre informed that guru and team leader Nongmaithem Memcha Devi was presented with the prestigious Sikhsha Manishi Ram Avtar Narmada Sharma Award 2023 for her contribution in the field of dance and art.

The institute showcased Nitee Leela as well as Lai Haraoba in classical and folk dance categories respectively, it added.
