A Nakuppi garden at Khurai Angom Leikai which is just two months old would soon be able to draw the attention of the public.
Nakuppi, commonly known as Chinese chives or garlic chives in English is being cultivated over an area extending up to two sangams.
Now a garden has also been developed at the Nakuppi farm apart from a fast food stall being opened.
Apart from producing Chinese chives, maximum efforts are being invested to make the farm a popular place of recreation, said the farm's owner Laiphrakpam Opendro.
He claimed that he earns Rs one lakh very easily in a month by selling Chinese chives at the rate of 100 bunches a day.
Now different varieties of alluring and colourful flowers have been planted in between rows of Chinese chives.
People have already started visiting the Nakuppi Garden, said 42 year old Opendro of Moirang Kampu.
