Mob throngs Nongpok Sekmai PS

Thoubal, April 13 2015 : A mob of protesters thronged Nongpok Sekmai police station today demanding prompt action against the abductor of Thangjam Kelvin.

Thangjam Kelvin (16), s/o Th Yambung alias Premjit of Thoubal district was allegedly abducted by one Longjam Dhojo alias Oken (18), s/o L Ibochouba Singh of Ukhongshang village on March 29 .

Dhojo is presently kept under custody at Nongpok Sekmai police station for further investigation.

The police are yet to trace the whereabouts of Kelvin, a standard IX student of HRD School till date.

Frustrated with the delay in the search operation conducted by the police, family members of the boy along with local club members marched towards the police station today demanding the authorities to immediately trace the whereabouts of the missing student.
