Imphal, April 13 2015 :
With a call for victory to the labourers, peasants and oppressed people of WESEA, KCP president Ksh Laba has conveyed warm greetings to all the people of Manipur on the occasion of the outfit's 35th raising day (April 14) .
Different revolutionary organisations of WESEA have been waging liberation movements on their own since the late 1940's.Some of these revolutionary groups are NNC (1946), NSCN (1980), NSCN-IM (1988), NSCN-K (1988) of Nagaland, MSC (1963), UNLF (1964), RGM (1968), PREPAK (1977), PLA/RPF (1978/1979), KCP (1980), KYKL (1994) of Manipur, MNF (1966) in Mizoram, TNV (1978), NLFT (1989), ATTF (1990) of Tripura, ULFA (1979), BSF (1986), NDFB (1994) of Assam, Bihar and West Bengal, KLO (1993) and HNLC (1992) of Meghalaya.
Even as Indian military forces have been indulging in rampant human rights violation in the name of suppressing these revolutionary groups, they have never succeeded in suppressing any of the revolutionary movements waged by these groups.
Leaderships of these groups have changed to young bloods after expiry or retirement of the founder leaders.
Although it has been decades since the revolutionary movements were launched, the goal still remains elusive.
As the revolutionary movements grow, some of them which were earlier confined to specific community or territory have expanded encompassing other communities and untouched territories.
This sometimes resulted in conflicts of different kinds with other communities.
In fact, different communities of WESEA were engaged in violent conflicts for a prolonged period.
All these ugly developments were results of being an occupied region, Ksh Laba said in a statement issued to press.
Inter-community conflicts is one major factor for the setbacks suffered by revolutionary groups and this is what India has been batting for.
The process of Indian nation building has achieved remarkable progress now as compared to the 1950's and 1960's.Now, India is emerging as a formidable rival to China.
To take on a strong country like India, it is inevitable for all the much smaller nations of WESEA to unite together instead of fighting separately with a vision to form a united country of WESEA.
This is what is informed by the changing political dynamics and such a vision can do away with all kinds of inter community conflicts, Laba asserted.
