IGNTUSU-RCM decries Govt's delay tactics

Imphal, May 02 2014 : Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Students' Union, Regional Campus Manipur (IGNTUSU-RCM) has made a clarion call to the State Government and concerned department regarding the non- functioning of the regional main campus site at Makhan Village due to the government's delay tactics of development particularly road, electricity and water supply in the campus.

In a press note, the union mentioned that the government had already assured Vice-Chancellor and Director i/c of the university regarding the matter in a meeting held on March 26 last but no positive steps have been taken up till today.

It added that the union will be compelled to take up democratic agitation if the concerned authority fails to address the matter before May 20 .
