RPF conveys gratitude

The proscribed RPF has conveyed gratitude to all the people, young and old, mothers and sisters, clubs, associations, institutions, members of Bar association, Government employees, employees of Health Department and students who paid floral tributes and homage to martyrs at the Cheiraoching memorial site and other tombs located at different places.
A press release issued by the outfit's Publicity Secretary Roben Khuman further conveyed gratitude to journalists working in electronic media, transporters, doctors, nurses and other medical staff, local people of Cheiraoching and surrounding areas and volunteers of children's recreation centre located atop the hillock for their contributions in successfully observing the martyrs' day.
The outfit also appreciated Manipur police for not posing much hurdles in observing the martyrs' day.
The martyrs' day was also observed at the RPF's general headquarters, council headquarters, PLA's general headquarters, tactical command, strategic command, 252 Mobile Battalion, Central Bureau, SR-1, SR-2, SR-3, SR-4 and all stations.
"Our people must acknowledge the supreme sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and we must follow their footsteps", it asserted.
