Imphal, September 24 2023: As part of the 127th birth anniversary celebration of Jana Neta Hijam Irawat, Irawat Celebration Committee Ningthoukhong in association with Lions Club of Ningthoukhong and D-CACUS-Education Centre Ningthoukhong today organised an interaction programme at Ningthoukhong Bazar.

It was attended by Kh Jadhumani, president Irawat Celebration Committee Ningthoukhong and Sagapam Mangol, president Lions Club of Ningthoukhong as presidium members.

During the programme, National awardee Asem Ibobi and RK Shyamsundo enlightened the gathering on the life and contributions of Jana Neta Irawat.

The participants also paid floral tribute to a photograph of Jana Neta Irawat.

Similarly, CPI Bishnupur Local Council and CPI Oinam Local Council jointly organised an interaction programme at the office premises of CPI Bishnupur District Council on Friday.

It was attended by Ch Sharat, district secretary CPI/BDC; S Nillakomol, district president AITUC Bishnupur District; veteran leaders Kh Kulla, Rajen and Th Yaishk.

Paying of floral tributes to a photograph of Jana Neta Irawat and a discussion on the contributions of Irawat towards the protection of Manipur's integrity were the main highlights of the event.
