Imphal, December 05 2009:
Following a writ petition filed by five individuals, the Gauhati High Court has issued an interim order directing that no fresh necessary process shall be initiated for implementation of Community Care Centre in Ukhrul district pending disposal of the writ petition.
The order also mentioned that the respondents may file petition for modification, alteration and vacation of the interim order.
The respondents listed in the case include the State of Manipur through the Commissioner (Health and Family Welfare), MACS Project Director, MACS Project Director (Technical) and National AIDS Control Organisation.
