Moreh, July 23 2012:
The medical camp which was proposed to be held at Nongkam Satang Maring village of Chandel district was held at Kwatha village due to bad road condition.
The camp was proposed to be organised under the supervision of Medical Officer T Tomthin as his office received information of villagers suffering from different ailments in the village.
As the village was not accessible from Indian side due to bad road condition, the medical team tried to enter from Myanmar side.
However, necessary permission from the Myanmar authority could not be acquired in time.
In the medical organised at Kwatha village, blood samples were collected for malaria testing.
