Senapati, February 20 2016 :
Continuing with its efforts to create 'free malpractice zones' at all examination centres, Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) along with its constituent units held a consultation meeting at Senapati DC Chamber.
SDSA president Pungdi P Celestine, in a statement, said unlawful activities disrupting examination environment and impersonation shall be seriously monitored in the forth coming Class X examination conducted by BOSEM.
Representatives or staff from the centre should not be appointed as invigilators in the exam, the association has warned.
In case any invigilator is caught promoting unfair means in the examination, the teacher, if he/she is from a Government School, will face termination from service and in case of private school, the school will be removed from the list of exam centres, it added.
SDSA will intensively monitor examination centres at the district to contain malpractices and use of unfair means, it stated.
Further, authorisation cards are to be issued by the DC office for the students' body for the purpose.
CCTV cameras will also be installed at four examination centres of the district Motbung, Saikul, Senapati centre A and Tadubi, for the first time, the statement informed.
The students' body has also extended best wishes to all the students appearing in the standard X examination to be conducted by BOSEM.
