Partially easing the ban on entry of vehicles in the bazar areas, the Government has issued a notice stating that certain types of vehicles may enter the market areas only through BT road and MG avenue.
Issuing an order in this connection, SP of Imphal West L Kailun today said that rickshaw with passengers, thelagari for transportation of goods, school van with children, residents of bazar area having garage facility, Government employees who offices are located and having garage facility in the bazar areas may be allowed entry through BT road and MG Avenue.
Under no circumstances will the vehicles be allowed to park inside the bazar areas or pick up passengers from the bazar areas, said the SP.
The order fruther said that no vehicle will be allowed to park in front of GM Hall, Johnstone Higher School, and along the western side of Kanglapat upto Khoyathong (LIC building).
However vehicles will be allowed to park beyond Khoyathong on the DM College road side and eastern side on the National Highway in front of DM College.
Identified : The man who was killed by a combined force of Bishnupur police commandos and 15 JKLI on April 30 at Bishnupur Maning Chingnungkhul was a sgt major of the proscribd PULF.
Police source identified the deceased as Md Saliuddin (39) alias Amu alias Hakim of Boryangbi.

The arrested person is an over ground worker of the outfit, said the AR PRO and identified him as one L Umakanta alias Ibomcha (37) of Leishangthem Khunou.
