Only Cong Govt is capable of bringing development: MLA

Political affairs in Manipur has a very unique competition which is not comparable with other states, said MLA Nemcha Kipgen who asserted that no other Governments except the one led by Congress is capable of bringing development in the State.
The Kangpokpi AC MLA was speaking at the 'Nav Varsodsav 2072 (VS) at Ngahmun Playground on Tuesday organized jointly by Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad, Manipur and Shree Shree Durga Mandir Seva Samiti, Paspati Sadar Hills.
Indian National Congress is doubtlessly the only political party who genuinely believed in Secularism, claimed MLA Nemcha Kipgen.
She said it will not be wise to have dividing wall among us respective of caste, creed and religion.
MLA Nemcha who graced the occasion as Chief Guest further said that Manipur which can be rightly called a Mini India considering the various communities living peacefully without any segregation of caste, creed and religions.
Attired in Nepali traditional dress, the MLA unveiled the Nav Varsodsav flag after lighting the New Year candle along with the other dignitaries.
The celebration was attended by Bikash Basnet, MDC ADC Sadar Hills and Mani Kumar Limbu, Founder Roses School, Kanglatongbi as Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively while Lamkholen Kipgen, MDC ADC Sadar Hills; Rajkumari Sedai, Ex-Zilla Parishad Kanglatongbi; Hari Nepal, GB Irang Pt-I; Dilip Katwal, Social Worker; Prem Narayan, President Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad, Manipur and Dr.Nandalal Baral, Chairman Paspati attended as distinguish guests.
"Loss of culture is loss of identity", said Mukti Gautam, Secretary NSSP (M) in his keynote address.
Nav Varsodsav has been celebrated in the same way Cheiraoba is celebrated by Meetei community in Manipur said Mukti Gautam who also emphasized the importance of Unity through Culture.
The New executive members of Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad Manipur were also announced during the function.
