Two girls rescued

Imphal, October 09 2017:
Two girls of around 12 who were heading outside the State were rescued by Senapati District Police at around 2 pm today .
The police team of Tadubi station came across the two minor girls travelling in a Tata Winger van (MN-06L/5065).They promptly halted the van and took the girls to their station .
After due communication was made, the girls' parents reported to Heingang police station .
The girls reportedly ran out of their houses before their parents and other elders woke up this morning.
Both of them are from greater Imphal area .
As disclosed by the girls, they were planning to go to Mumbai via Dimapur .
Police have launched an investigation whether some other people were involved in the case or not.
