Mass COVID-10 testing and vaccination drives conducted

COVID-19 mass vaccination and testing were conducted at various places today.
Pourabi
Task Force Pourabi organised a mass testing cum vaccination programme at Pourabi Lainingthou Puthiba Community hall today under the supervision of Imphal East District Administration.
A total of 160 individuals were vaccinated and 34 individuals were tested for COVID-19 out of which 2 samples had returned positive.
COVID-19 Joint Task Force, Pourabi extended gratitude to MLA Th Lokeshwar, CMO Imphal East and Lamlai Police OC and his team for their valuable cooperation to make the campaign a success.
Porompat
Unemployed Youth Learners' Association also organised a mass testing cum vaccination drive at Lainingthou Thawanthaba Community Hall today under the supervision of MLA N Indrajit Singh, DC Imphal East and CMO Imphal East today.
64 samples were tested today out of which 2 individuals had turned out positive and 55 individuals were vaccinated on the spot.
Khurai
Eastern Educational Club also organised a mass testing cum vaccination programme yesterday at Khurai Ahongei Leikai under the supervision of Imphal East District Administration and CMO Imphal East.
120 individuals were vaccinated and 150 samples were tested for COVID-19 which all came out negative.
Keishamthong
COVID-19 Task Force Ward Number 9 Keishamthong AC also organised a mass vaccination programme today at its head office in Imphal Rising Youth Club at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai.
45 individuals in the age group 18-44 years and 250 individuals above the age of 45 years were vaccinated as a part of the mass vaccination programme.
The mass vaccination programme was inspected by Dr Shyamjai Singh, Director, State Health Mission and officers of District Family Welfare Department.
Laipham Khunou
Laipham Khunou Youth Development Associatyion organised a mass COVID-19 testing cum vaccination drive today.
The programme was conducted by a team of 15 medical staff including doctors and nurses.
260 samples were tested today and no one was found to be positve while 100 individuals were vaccinated.
