Distribution of relief items continues

In continuation of the assistance provided to the people, volunteers of the Kakching Ward no 3 Covid Task Force in association with social worker and former candidate of Manipur Legislative Assembly Election for Wabagai AC, Mayengbam Ranjit Singh distributed essential food items to 50 households in the containment zone of Kakching Wairi under Wabagai Assembly Constituency today.
In another instance, Kakching Assembly Constituency MLA, Mayanglambam Rameshwor distributed food items to the members of the Transgender community under Kakching AC today.
Speaking on the occasion, M Rameshwor stated that the food items were distributed to support the families of the transgender community who are suffering due to the imposition of Curfew by the State Government and assured to provide similar assistance in the future.
The MLA mentioned that mass vaccination and testing have been carried out at various locations of the constituency while adding that a mass vaccination drive would be conducted at Kakching Wairi Kongoi Community Hall on June 12.Similarly, volunteers of Covid Task Force Khangabok under the supervision of Khangabok AC MLA, Surjakumar Okram distributed essential items to the households in the containment zone of Khangabok.
In a bid to encourage the security personnel who are carrying out their duties during this health crisis, Thoubal District SP, Dr S Ibomcha went around and distributed face masks and hand sanitizers to the police personnel at various Police stations in the district.
SDPO Thoubal, Johny under the supervision of Thoubal SP, Dr S Ibomcha also provided face masks and sanitizers to the journalist working in Thoubal district.
Volunteers under the supervision of social worker Kh Menjor Mangang also distributed face masks and food items to the members of Thoubal District Working Journalist Union today.
Social worker Ningthoujam Diten Singh also went personally and provided food items to the households of Langmeithet under Heirok AC.
Langmeithet Youth Development Association (LYDA) extended their appreciation to Ningthoujam Diten Singh and all those involved in the distribution programme for their concern and care.
Meanwhile, BK Group proprietor, Sorokhaibam Bankimchandra Singh also distributed essential food items to the poor households under the jurisdiction of Social Welfare Club (SWC) and Youth Development Club (YDC), Lamding Cherapur.
Likewise, BJP Manipur State spokesperson, H S Benjamin Mate also provided relief items to the people of different communities settled in Tengnoupal today.
Relief items were distributed at BJP Booth 22 and Kondong Lairembi Haraobung, Moreh Heinoumakhong.
The distribution programme was attended by leaders of MCM, ACODOM, Tamil Sangam, Gorkha Samaj, MMCM, MCC and other eminent personalities.
Later, face masks, PPE kits and face shields were also distributed at the office of Kuki Students Organisation Moreh Block.
