Kangpokpi, September 18 2019: To make PM Narendra Modi birthday memorable, ADC Sadar Hills donated for construction of 'waiting area' at In-Patient Dept at District Hospital Kangpokpi as birthday gift yesterday.

It was also a whip up support to the tireless efforts and struggles of the health workers of District Hospital Kangpokpi towards public services despite of all limitations and challenges as well as an exhibition of appreciation towards the District health sector for maintaining the top position with regards to best performing CHCs and PHCs in the entire hill districts and overall top 5 position in the state.

The birthday gift was announced yesterday by ADC Sadar Hills Chairman Haokholal Hangshing during his visit to the hospital in connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi birthday celebration under Seva Saptah campaign along with the BJP Sadar Hills and mandal leaders.

Apart from donating waiting area at the In-patient Dept in District Hospital Kangpokpi, ADC Sadar Hills also donated one solar street lamp and two giant dustbins to the hospital while some councillors who accompanied the Chairman also assured to look after the challenges of the hospital at the earliest.

The ADC Sadar Hills councillors along with the Chairman also met the CMO, MS and other MOs and staffs of the hospital at the office chamber of MS here during which the councillors and BJP leaders lauded the recent acheivement of District Hospital Kangpokpi and its PHCs.

The authority of District Hospital Kangpokpi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Councillors of ADC Sadar Hills especially the Chairman Haokholal Hangshing for their concerned towards the hospital and recognizing their contribution towards the health sector in the district and mainly for the prestigious birthday gift which they would cherish forever.

Meanwhile, BJP Sadar Hills continued its social welfare services as part of the Seva Saptah campaign today by visiting various orphanages home in the district and by distributing fruits, sweets and others items.

The BJP Sadar Hills team led by District ST Morcha president Tonglen Khongsai comprised of Mandal president Tingnei Lhouvum, District Co-convenor Sagar Gewali, ADC Sadar Hills member Milan Pradhan and Seilen Lhoujem visited Agape Children Home Kangpokpi and Grace Home Kalapahar.

The visiting team distributed sweets to hundreds orphan and poor children studying at Agape Children Home as a mark of Prime Minister Birthday celebration while making the children aware of the Prime Minister sacrificial and good services for the country.

The BJP Sadar Hills team also met seven orphan children at Grace Home Kalapahar and distributed them sweets as mark of Prime Minister Birthday where local MDC Milan Pradhan assured to donate a bag of rice every month to the home while other members and BJP leaders also assured to look their grievances in future as well.
