MP Ranjan, others provide Covid relief items

Imphal, June 11 2021:
Lok Sabha MP Dr RK Ranjan along with many others distributed essential items to Covid-19 affected people, quarantine centre, scribes and transgender community on Friday.
Dr Ranjan accompanied by BJP spokesperson Wilubou Newmai and BJP Scheduled Tribe Morcha Manipur Pradesh president Mani Kamei visited Tamei during which he provided one oxygen concentrator, two oximeters, two infra-red thermometers and 100 bottles of hand sanitizer to Tamei Primary Health Centre medical officer so as to help in fighting Covid-19.On the sidelines of the programme, which was held under the Seva Hi Sangathan and attended by Village Covid-19 Control Committee members and several village chiefs, he also planted saplings at the premises of Tamei PHC.
Later, he visited Tama village where an awareness programme on Covid-19 was conducted along with distribution of rice, masks and hand sanitizers to the villagers by Wilubou Newmai.
Meanwhile, minister O Lukhoi and Pukhri Achouba Development Committee, Charangpat Mayai Leikai under the aegis of Wangkhem MLA K Meghachandra distributed edibles to households in containment zones of Wangoi assembly constituency and at Charangpat High School Quarantine Centre and poor households at Charangpat Mayai Leikai respectively.
Edibles were also distributed by RK Fortune Developer Pvt Ltd managing director RK Rameshwar and social worker Ningthoujam Diten Singh to households of Patsoi AC and at Langmeithet under Heirok AC.
On the other hand, social worker Kh Menjor Mangang on Friday presented face masks and edibles to members of Thoubal District Working Journalists' Union in appreciation of their work at the time of Covid pandemic.
Former candidate from Wabagai AC, social worker Mayengbam Ranjit Singh of Tera Urak in collaboration with Kakching Ward no.3 Covid Task Force handed over essential items to 50 families under containment zones in Kakching Kakching and family of an accident victim along with monetary aid to the Task Force on Friday.
Meanwhile, Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar Singh distributed edibles to 70 transgender from Kakching at Kakching Bazar Irabot Park.
