Reiterating that appointment orders were not yet issued to the 315 candidates who have been selected six months back for recruitment to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Manipur Police causing much anxiety, heartburn and frustration to the candidates including their parents, the Senior Citizens for Society has urged the concerned authority to look into the matter and immediately issue the long awaited appointment orders to the duly selected ASI candidates in the interest of all concerned so that at least 315 out of more than seven lakhs unemployed educated young men get gainful employment and serve the State.
In a press note, the society said selection tests of the recruitment including physical fitness test, written test and viva-voice took more than four years and the final results of the test was declared on March 3, 2014.On top of all, reason for the undue delay in issuing appointment orders is not yet known.
