KNF (N) refutes claims

Reacting to an earlier clarification made by Kuki National Front (KNF) denying its involvement in Bongbal Kholen incident, Kuki National Front (Nehlun) has categorically refuted the claims made by KNF.
A statement issued by Secretary Information and Publicity of KNF (N) Gogou Vaiphei said that the clarification made by KNF (P) could not be accepted.
The outfit questioned that the identity of some people namely Sergeant Satlam alias Eagle of Gamgiphai Village, Corporal Sehkholen alias Bronly Kipgen of Haiken Village, Private Paothang Khongsai of Maojang Village and Mangtinlen alias Casper of Phoikon Village who were allegedly leading the cadres on that fateful day.
The KNF (N) further cautioned the State government to be vigilant in checking free movement of the cadres of KNF (P) and demanded the authorities concerned to book the culprits along with one Semtinthang on charges of violating the ground rules of Suspension of Operations.
The outfit also alleged that one MLA transported more cadres to Bongbal Kholen and even threatened family members of the suspects on the following day of the incident.
KNF (N) further clarified that Henkholen alias James is not the leader of the outfit as claimed by KNF (P).
He is only a faithful commander of the cadres who has no political role or power within the organization.
