PHE Minister visits remote PHCs to provide medical items

Amidst the increasing trend of COVID-19 infection in Senapati district, PHE Minister, L Dikho has been donating relief materials, essential items to the people of Senapati district including a monetary aid of Rs 15 lakh to set up one Operation Theatre for COVID-19 positive pregnant patients and 12 Oxygen concentrators to District Hospital, Senapati; 2 Oxygen concentrators each to Paomata PHC, Laii PHC and Sub-District Hospital, Mao; Oxygen cylinders, medicines for COVID patients and 100 Pulse Oximeter to various PHCs and PHSCs of Senapati district.
Meanwhile, pictures of the Minister personally delivering oxygen concentrators and PPEs to different health-care institutions of the district have been going viral on many social media platforms since the past couple of days, winning hearts and appreciation from different corners.
Many people on different social media platforms have lauded the Minister for his dedication towards the safety of the people.
In this regard, the Poumai Naga Students Union (Paomata) expressed their gratitude to the PHE Minister, L Dikho for his care and dedication towards the welfare of the people especially during the pandemic.
Besides, Yuh Jonathan Tao, vice president, BJP Manipur also donated 40 PPE Kits and face masks to the District Administration, Senapati.
