Titular king worried by intricacies of present situation

Titular king of Manipur, Leishemba Sanajaoba has expressed his concern that the upcoming generations could face intricacies of the present situation in the State if it persists with time.
The titular king was addressing a press meet at Hotel Imphal organised by Meitei Nationalist Party, Manipur (MNP) on Friday.
Leishemba Sanajaoba also felt the need for political parties which can work for the welfare of the people.
He underlined the need for building confidence and unity among all groups living together in the State and said, "We must safeguard the integrity together." MNP founder president Angousana Sharma said the organization is a political group.
Referring to the recent peace accord signed between the Government of India and NSCN (IM), the MNP leader expressed unhappiness with the Centre's 'deliberate policy' to exclude Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh from the purview of the agreement.
He said MNP was floated to take an important role in politics knowing the circumstances under which identity of all could be messed up.
High Court Bar Association, Manipur President Kh Binoy was also present during the press meet.
