KSA urges Government for re-admission of students

Imphal, July 23 2019: The Kangleipak Students Union (KSA) has appealed to the State Government to issue a notification for the re-admission of around700 students, who were admitted to Mayai Lambi College for the 2019-20 academic session by a shadowy gang without their knowledge but were later rejected by the college authority.

KSA has further appealed to the authorities concerned to nab the culprits involved in scaming the gullible students and to punish them according to the law at the earliest.

Speaking to media persons at KSA office at Khoyathong today, it secretary general Seram Hemjit appealed to the Government to take up necessary actions against the culprits responsible for duping the students and robbing them off their money by claiming to enrol them in the college.

He also appealed to the State Government to issue a notice for readmitting the unfortunate 700 students so as to save their career.

Speaking about the announcement to give a scholarship only to the ST students pursuing MA Manipur during the 14th Academic council meeting at Manipur University, he appealed to the authority concerned to ensure that the scholarship is also provided to all the weaker sections of the society as well.
