General Secretary Aaron Kipgen said that the demand for Kukiland is not a recent one.
KNF is the first armed group of the Kukis and it takes the responsibility of strengthening the Kuki nationalism.
He further said that people should not forget the meaning of Kuki, that is, the list of 21 tribes.
Kukiland belongs to the Kukis and their forefathers had valiantly fought against the Britishers to save Kukiland from annexation.
Aaron also stated that the political dialogue with the Indian government is in full swing and the outfit is waiting for Prime Minister's approval for the appointment of an interlocutor.
Home Secretary Jangboi also expressed his gratitude to the cadres and leaders for their dedication and hard work in keeping the revolution alive.
