Mega School host CADA's campaign

As a part of its ongoing campaign to educate students on the ill effects of intoxicants, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) organized an academic programme at Mega Manipur School at Yaralpat Tinsid Road under Imphal East District yesterday.
According to a statement issued by N Ojitkumar, Secy Information and Publicity of CADA Head Office, the programme was conducted with Psychiatrist of Churachandpur District Hospital Dr Gyaneshwor, President of CADA Ningthoujam Doren, and Principal of Mega Manipur School Irengbam Bikram Singh as Presidium Members.
During the programme, Asst Secy Info and Publicity of CADA Geetchandra Mangang stressed on the ill effects of intoxicants among young children and pointed out that the rate of intoxicants abuse is quite high.
So, students should not even taste the intoxicants.
Vice President of CADA Jhaljit M Luwang stated that most of the causes of intoxicant abuse come from one's own family.
The number of widows and orphanage due to ill effects of intoxicants is increasing.
Dr Gyaneshwor observed that drug is very important for human beings.
However its misuse has caused problem in the society.
Bikram urged the students to spread the awareness on intoxicants and to stand against drugs.
