107 year old Jadingliu Kameiliu Gonmeipui of Taosang village extends warm New Year greetings

Jadingliu Kameiliu Gonmeipui, a 107 year old senior women from Taosang village in Noney District, which is 100 km away from Imphal and which is not easy to access due to lack of proper road connectivity, greeted the people of Manipur on the eve of New Year.
G Soihem Haomei, former chairman ADC Tamenglong today visited Taosang village and personally interacted with the said senior most women.
According to the former ADC Tamenglong, he found the aged women in sound health, her eye-sight, hearing capability and brain alertness all remained unimpair.
On asking if she wants to greet the people of Manipur on the eve of New Year, she expressed her happiness and wished the people of Manipur to have a prosperous and successful new year, he added and said that she was saddened by the Kuki-Naga conflict in which many innocent Kukis and Nagas were killed during her lifetime.
She also said that attending the celebration of 'Gaangai' festival is one of her happiest memory.
On asking her preferred candidate in the upcoming general election, she said that she will cast her vote to Gaikhangam, G Soihem Haomei added.
