Ibemcha runs a grocery cum hotel at the village and locals saw her leaving her grocery cum hotel around 10 am yesterday in a suspicious manner, some villagers followed her.
Wary of being watched Ibemcha returned to her shop, closed it and went back home.
After some time, suspicious villagers went to her house and broke open the main door which was found locked from inside and they discovered Naoba hiding underneath Ibemcha's bed.
The villagers were set to perform Keinya Katpa for the two, however, family members of Naoba, who arrived almost immediately, took him away on the promise that he would be produced if the villagers wished to take any action.
In the melee Ibemcha fled from the spot.
The villagers gathered again today and asked Ibemcha and Naoba to come out to be present in a meeting but both of them could not be found.
Interestingly, in a further search, Naoba was found at Lamdeng Khunou with a woman from Wangoi with whom he had eloped last evening.
