Imphal, October 09 2017:
It is time to forget about pilgrimage to Vrindavan, Nabadwip, Ganga river .
"Many non-indigenous people are secretly sneaking in, this innumerable influx will dry up the future generations as there are no means to protect us", said PREPAK (Pro) Chairman L Paliba .
With the dream of abundant availability of cheap rice and food under Food Security Acts, people are negatively influenced not to cultivate the fields but instead use the rice fields to build up infrastructure for development .
Such policy may enslave the future generations and will tighten the trap of the hitherto existing captive market.
Paddy fields means human stomach, handing this over to Indian means offering enslavement .
With the absence of strong indigenous and farsighted leaders, extension of railways, full-fledged Trans-Asian Highways, exploring mineral oil, other development projects will bring enslavement of indigenous people, it cautioned .
India takes special interest in railways and trans-Asian highway projects as these will benefit the Indian capitalist class and big businessmen .
Though Indian government claims rural village roads are constructed at 133 km per day, the condition of Jiri Highway is still similar to the condition that existed at the time of World War II .
There may not be any Indian leader who has not promised to construct this highway.
How can one trust these leaders' rhetoric, who cannot even construct this highway for the last 70 years, of supplying electricity, water and employment for youths, the outfit asked .
"There are many ways to make ourselves financially sound and economically advanced instead of craving for Indian handouts", it asserted .
"Nowadays Indian negative characteristics are so infused in our society that even doctors need to be bribed in order to take good care of the patients.
Even as Ministers appeal to the doctors for humanely treatment of the patients, news of negligence and uncaring of patients by doctors, nurses and staffs are pouring out daily", it remarked .
Sudden increase of women related crimes, drug addicts, unemployed youths, and skyrocketed price of essential commodities, educational costs, innumerable family problems are all outcomes of the alleged annexation of Kangleipak by India, Paliba concluded.
