MSME mega camp held

A Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) mega camp was held at Kyamgei, Imphal East today.
Keirao AC MLA Lourembam Rameshwor, UBI Imphal assistant general manager Raghunandan Samanta, Handloom and Textiles Dy Director E Jiten, Handicrafts Service Centre Imphal Assistant Director Th Rajen, Weavers Service Centre Imphal Assistant Director Ibohal Singh and other officials presided the camp.
Organised by Dept of Finance Services under Finance Ministry, Govt of India, the camp was attended by artisans and entrepreneurs of Imphal East district.
Speaking on the occasion, Dy Director of Handloom and Textiles E Jiten said that Imphal East district was included among the 100 districts si' acted under the MSME support and outreach programme, initiated by PM Modi on November 2 .
He said that, under the 100 days MSME.
support and outreach programme, loan ranging from Rs one lakh till Rs one crore will be made available within 59 minutes.
He added that GST registration, six months statement, bank account and one year's income tax return and other documents are required to avail the loan under the said programme.
Jiten further conveyed that facilities for MUDRA loan is also available at the pamp for those who does not have valid documents for the MSME support and outreach programme.
As part of the camp, MLA L Rameshwor distributed sanction letters for the loan to some selected entrepreneurs.
