He also noted that people nowadays are not following "dharma" which teaches one to be righteous.
He pointed out that those religions that give emphasis on purity and impurity among the people are 'apparent religions' and against the true principles of a religion while observing that there are many pretending followers of religion in the present days.
Saying that there are four basic essences which formed the pillars of Hindu religion, he further mentioned that serving the people, ahingsa and tapasya are among the essences.
He explained that ahingsa comprises a wider sense than non-violence and added that one should refrain from engaging in any activities that he/she does not feel happy when someone do it upon him/her.
He then opined that people will like religion if they find good values and positive aspects in the religion.
Brajamani continued to observe that informal education is much needed in the present society as moral values, which he said is found maximum in this form of education, have "declined a lot" among the present generation/ youth.
A book entitled "Karma Yoga is the best Yoga" was also released by the dais members during the function.
