Manipur man stabbed, robbed, thrown out of moving autorickshaw in Thane

A native of Manipur who works as a food and beverage supervisor at a restaurant was attacked, stabbed and thrown out of a running autorickshaw in Thane, Maharashtra on Monday.
The victim Pangmayung Raikhan was returning home, in Thane's Bhayanderpada, after completing his shift at his workplace.
He was waiting for a shared autorickshaw along with two of his other colleagues.
An autorickshaw stopped at Waghbil over bridge.
There were three passengers sitting in the autorickshaw along with the driver.
Raikhan boarded the autorickshaw while his colleagues waited for another one.
The autorickshaw driver stopped the vehicle near Ovala Naka to relieve himself.
Two more passengers got off the autorickshaw followed by the driver while Raikhan was still sitting in the autorickshaw.
After a while, the two passengers and the autorickshaw driver returned to the autorickshaw.
The autorickshaw driver told the two passengers, hinting at Raikhan, that he was drunk and instigated them to assault Raikhan.
The two passengers then forcibly started taking out things from his pocket.
Soon Raikhan was stabbed in the back.
The autorickshaw driver started the vehicle and after a while the two passengers and the driver threw him out of the autorickshaw and fled from the spot.
Raikhan was taken to a Vedant Hospital in Thane where doctors found that the stab had punctured his lungs.Police officials from Kasarvadavli police station have registered a case against three unidentified persons under Section 394 of IPC for attempting to rob a person and voluntarily causing hurt.
