Students to stage protest at BSEM, SSA office

DESAM, AMSU, MSF and KSA during a press conference held today at AMSU HQ announced to storm BSEM and SSA office tomorrow along with students of both private and government schools demanding textbooks.
A spokesperson of the students' bodies told the reporters that they found more than 20,000 copies of SSA books in the warehouse of BSEM during a drive today.
When they tried to collect the textbooks to take them away from there, police intercepted them and prevented them from doing so.
Blaming the state government of the unavailability of textbooks to the students, the spokesperson alleged that the government is not interested in education of the students of the state and their future.

That is why the government is remaining idle even when they found many textbooks lying illegally in ZEOs and students demanding textbooks.
He said that one SI of the state police behaved in a rude manner with the volunteers of the students' bodies at the BSEM office earlier today during their drive.
He further said that they, although unauthorized to do so, are forced to seized the textbooks and distribute them to the students when the authorized persons are neglecting their duties.
