Delegation of all political parties to meet PM, HM

Concerned over the prevailing situation in the State, a meeting of all the political parties of the State was convened on December 25 at around 3:00pm in the cabinet hall of Chief Minister, to take views, suggestions and propositions from different political parties of the State.
The meeting which was chaired by Chief Minister O Ibobi, deliberated on the matters relating to the Chandel molestation case and condemned the incident in the strongest terms.
The meeting also expressed serious concern over the inconveniences caused to the general public during the general strike called in protest over the unfortunate incident at Chandel.
After a thorough deliberation, the meeting unanimously adopted four resolutions.
The resolutions included to urge upon the government of India to hand over NSCN-IM cadre Livingstone to the Government of Manipur at the earliest for taking necessary actions against him under the laws of the land; to appeal to the JAC of Artists, Film Forum Manipur and Manipur State Shumang Leela Council and also to the UNC to withdraw their general strikes considering the hardships faced by the general public.
The all political parties' meeting also decided to depute a delegation of All Political Parties to Delhi to meet the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister to appraise the present situation prevailing in Manipur, very soon.
