Bodies recovered

Imphal, February 18 2016:
Skeletal
remains of an unidentified
person was recovered from
the deep jungle of
Sangkhumai village under
Senapati district on Feb 16 by
Mao Police Station.
The
village is reported to be about
72 km from the Mao Police
Station.
The body is now kept
at RIMS for identification,
according to the police.
Meanwhile, body of a
non-Manipuri man was
found at new Keithelmanbi
market shed this morning.
According to a statement
of the Officer-in Charge of
Patsoi police station, local
residents claimed the body
to be that of one unsound
non-Manipuri man who
usually used to loiter in and
around Keithemanbi market
area.
The body is about 154
cm tall with lean body, bald
head and elongated face.
The man wore a windproof
jacket, grey trouser, gold
star shoes and grey striped
shirt.
The dead body has been
deposited at RIMS morgue
for identification.
