Imphal, July 06 2015 :
The Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has pledged to intensify its stir against the inclusion of objectionable material regarding Shirui Lily in a textbook published by Nagaland Board of Secondary Education.
In a statement KSA said that the students' body has lined up series of agitation including poster campaign in days to come.
Miffed by the alleged stoic silence maintained by the State Govt on the issue, the KSA has once again urged the State Govt to do the needful to rectify the 'error' .
A textbook published by NBSE has mentioned that 'Shiroy Lily is found only in Nagaland' .
One cannot feel pleased that the matter has surfaced in the State Assembly.
And the KSA and people of the State would find no consolation in the statement of the CM who said that the Govt is 'looking into the matter' in the Assembly, the KSA said while insisting the Govt to act fast.
Besides the 'black badges' stir, the students' body would launch other forms of agitation including poster campaign, it said.
While acknowledging the support it gets from the people in the NBSE textbook issue, KSA also urged all concerned to extend support to the endeavour of the students' body.
