KSO joins in demanding justice for Richard Loitam

Expressing its solidarity over the murder of Loitam Richard, the Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) General Headquarters has joined others in demanding justice for Loitam Richard.
A statement issued by the vice-president of KSO (Ghq), Mangcha Baite slammed the state governments of Manipur and Karnataka for not acting fast enough in solving the murder case.
The KSO demanded that the culprits involved in the murder of Richard must be booked and stringent punishment be lashed against the culprits so that such kind of crimes is prevented from happening in future.
Demanding action from the Central Government to curb such attacks on NE students, the KSO said the sensivity of the issue should not be overlooked as it usually ends up with a feeling of alienation among the students of NE region.
The KSO further condemned the lukewarm attitude of the concerned authority of the institution in dealing with the issue in the initial stage of the murder case while adding that their act of partiality is not to be condoned.
Condoling the death, the Kuki students' body also shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family while commending that the father of Richard, Loitam Rajesh is a renowned dentist who has dedicatedly served the people of the State for the past many years.
