Imphal, March 02 2015:
Following the unfortunate incident on February 26 where a class II student was beaten black and blue and put inside a gunny bag for a night by Haobijam Surajbala (40) owner of a boarding house of Ima Medhapati Public School located at Langjing Achouba, Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has banned the school soon after the school authorities denied to acknowledge the student as theirs.
In a press meet held at DESAM Hqrs, asst secretary general Aheibam Anand declared that Ima Medhapati Public School has been banned for denying its student.
He alleged that the Principal and the school authority are trying to cover up their mistakes by claiming that the student was not theirs.
Taking serious note of the clarifications made by the Principal of the school, Anand said that the school has proved to be the worst place for students.
Furthermore, the claims of the school are baseless as there are enough proof to ascertain that the student is theirs.
He added that school authority has concealed the attendance registrar of class II to pursue a hidden agenda in order to terminate him from the school or for other reasons.
"Such a claim cannot be tolerated at any cost", Anand added.
The school founder along with the Principal of the school must clarify, he demanded.
