Imphal, January 24 2010:
The third anniversary foundation day of Royal Riders was held yesterday at Khuman Lampak.
The occasion was graced by SSP of Imphal East district, Th Radheshyam, Additional Director of Education (S), Hareshwor Goswami, and president of Royal Riders, Manipur, RK Tombisana as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.
Exhibiting photos of the activities of Royal Riders in interior areas of the state, blood donation camp and giving present to senior mechanics who helped RRM marked the observance function of the foundation day.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Th Radheshyam asserted that the help rendered with whatever one have is more valuable than what one help with the excess of their wealth.
This has been what actually the RRM is doing in the state.
Hareshwor Goswami said, the existence of a philanthropic organisation should not be made known through words, but the action should speak for the organisation.
There was a time when the valley area was only considered as Manipur.
The effort of the RRM in bridging the divide between the valley and the hill seems to pay dividend.
Instead of trying to expose the familiarity and commonality of the hill and valley people, the differences between the two should also be brought out and one must try to adjudge with that.
