Four UGs nabbed

Imphal, April 19 2011:
Four UGs were apprehended by the police commandos in separate operations.
Three of the four UGs belonging to KCP groups were arrested by Imphal east police commandos on April 16 while a MDF activist was nabbed by Imphal West police commandos today.
P Indrakumar Singh (33) son of Chaoba of Pangei Bazar and Takhelambam Ojen singh (52) son Tomcha of Landum Makha Leikai were arrested from Lamboiching foothill as KCP activists, a statement of the IGP (HQ), Clay Khongsai, in-charge of Imphal East SP said.
Today also, KCP (MC) activist Ningthoukhongjam Sushil @ Ingo @ Isingchaoba (30) son N Damu of Langathel Kunja has been arrested by a team of police commandos from Kiyamgei Maning Leikai near Heibong Makhong High School.
A 9 mm pistol loaded with five live rounds was recovered from his possession, the statement added.
The MDF activist identified as Leichombam Tarponchao (25) son of Pabung of Payeng Ching Khunou was arrested by a team of Imphal West police commandos from Tairenpokpi area.
A statement of the Senior SP, Imphal West alleged him of involving in the transportation of arms and ammunition of the group.
A 9 mm pistol with three live rounds and a Sony Ericson mobile handset were seized from his possession, the statement added.
