Bottling plant goes idle
Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, May 03 2014 :
On account of the two-day strike under-taken by LPG transporters across the country, Sekmai LPG Bottling Plant has ceased its functions.
LPG transporters called for a two-day strike on May 2 and 3 demanding adherence to the existing system as agreed between IOC and transporters.
Because of the strike, 26 LPG bullet carriers are standing at the bottling plant without unloading.
One official of the bottling plant said that it would resume its functions after unloading the bullet carriers on Monday.
