NE culture to be showcased at RSM

Celebrating the spirit of time-honoured traditions, indigenous culture and well-known diversity, the second Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav (RSM) is being organised by the Union Ministry of Culture from October 15 to October 24 in the National capital.
Calling upon all North Eastern people to participate, North East Cultural Centre Dimapur (NEZCC) Director Lipokmar Tzudir said the second day of the festival is dedicated to showcase the North Eastern culture.
“October 16 is dedicated to showcase the North Eastern culture.
I appeal to our North East community in Delhi to kindly come and make our presence felt here”, Tzudir said.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the 10-day Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts on Saturday.
The festival, with an intent of ‘Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat’, ‘Hamaari Sanskriti, Hamaari Pahchaan’ and ‘Swach India ’ will showcase India’s cultural heritage through performances, arts and cuisines from the seven zonal cultural centres under the Ministry.
