Organisations demand actions against high handed personnel

Khangabok Development And Students' Union (KDASU), in a press release issued by its general secretary, has condemned the alleged harassment and assault of two individuals by security escort and police personnel of MLA, Keirao AC, claiming that they (the individuals) did not let the MLA's vehicle overtake their vehicle.
The incident occurred on April 12 at Singjamei Keithel.
It stated that the individuals namely Dr Romeo Khundrakpam and Kh Rubykumar are from Khangabok Awang Leikai.
Condemning the VIP culture, the union has demanded immediate suspension of PSO and Commanding Officer involved in the incident and further urged the State Government to take necessary action so that such incident is not occurred in the future.
Another press release issued by general secretary of KM Blooming Alumni Association (KBAA) has further decried the act of PSO of MLA Keirao AC and his security personnel.
The association claimed that the duo were heading to RIMS Lamphel for internship duty and were stopped near Singjamei.
The security personnel physically assaulted the duo and broke the front portion of the car, the association claimed.
It demanded the MLA, PSO and involved security guards to apologize to the victims and urged the authorities concerned to take strict action against the person involved in the alleged harassment so that such actions does not happen in the near future.
