Governor Dr Najma Heptulla has wished the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Cheiraoba.
Greeting the people, the Governor said that the festival symbolises the advent of New Year particularly for the Hindu Meiteis and every household celebrates the festival with great enthusiasm in the State.
Praying for the festival to bring peace and prosperity to every household, the Governor once again conveyed her best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion of Cheiraoba.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh has also conveyed best wishes to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Cheiraoba.
He stated that the festival heralds the message of love and unity amongst the people and the festival is celebrated with religious fervour and joy.
Praying for the festival to bring better understanding, love, peace, harmony and prosperity for all, the Chief Minister extended greetings and best wishes to all on the occasion of Cheiraoba.
MAHUD Minister Th Shyamkumar, Works Minister Th Biswajit and Health Minister L Jayantakumar also conveyed greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Cheiraoba.
Inner Manipur MP, Dr Thokchom Meinya also conveyed greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Cheiraoba.
MPCC president TN Haokip and ex-Deputy CM G Gaikhangam also conveyed wishes to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Cheiraoba.
