As per an order issued today, the State Govt has lifted restriction/bans imposed on encashment of cheques/bills of the following categories-Salaries and pensions upto the month of August 2004 including retirement benefits, ration money as admissible under rules, medical advances and reimbursement, ex-gratia and relief payments, GPF within the monthly limit upto the month of August 2004, Honorarium for the ICDS staff upto the month of August 2004 where funds have been authorized by Finance Dept (Budget Section), all bills pertaining to (i) Raj Bhavan (ii) Assembly secretariat (iii) high court and (iv) MPSC, Grant in aid bills pertaining to salaries of grant in aid bodies upto the month of August 2004, bills pertaining to electricity charges and water charges booked under detailed head for "Electric and water charges" without requiring LOC, bills relating to payment of interest and repayment of loans availed by the State Govt, bills pertaining to scholarship/stipend as per rules, wages for casual/contract employees engaged as per rules upto August 2004, leave travel concession as per rules, withdrawal of funds deducted from salary bills for Govt employees and deposited in the public account for repayment of loans to lending agencies such as HUDCO.
