All Manipur Recognised Private School Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) celebrated Private School Day at Lamyanba Shanglen today.
Eco & Stats, H&TE, SCERT, AE Additional Secretary Kh Raghumani, AMRPSWA President Ph Landhoni and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur Chairman Dr H Nabachandra graced the occasion as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the occasion, Kh Raghumani lauded the efforts of private school teachers in producing bright students.
Saying that Government school teachers are also equally talented like private school teachers, Raghumani however suggested the former to fully utilise their talent.
H Nabachandra while speaking at the function said that exact marks for internal assessment, practical and theory subjects would be mentioned in the marksheets of Class XII examination from next year.
Saying that sincere efforts are made not to leave out any student from being registered with the Council by extending last dates for registration, Nabachandra said that it is however hard to enter the name of any student into registration list if computerisation process is once completed.
From this year onwards, students who wish to appear in improvement examination are allowed to sit in the examination the same year, he added.
Founders and Secretaries of private schools which produced position holders and highest mark grossers were feted in today's function.
