Complaint lodged with State Election Commission

An election agent of 10/1/1 Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Heinoukhongnembi GP has lodged a complaint with the State Election Commission regarding alleged missing of ballot papers in the recently concluded GP election.
In a complaint letter to the State EC, Taodem Singhajit, an election agent of Thaodem Chinglengamba (Chaobhal), a member candidate of 10/1/1 Awang Keisham Leikai alleged that four ballot papers were missing from the ballot box.
He pointed out that out of the total 454 votes cast on September 13, only 450 ballot papers of the same were found on the counting day.
The letter urged the SEC to re-count the votes in respect of the said polling station while also urging the EC to initiate action against the RO concerned for alleged misconduct.
